The time has come to add a new subsection to the alternative music scene. "Heavy melodic" is the best way to describe Garrison, Boston, MA's post-punks sensations. Although their music could be described as emotional, it would be unfair to describe these guys as just an "emo" band. Skillfully combining equal parts post-hardcore, sentimental pop, rock and lots of melody, Garrison are a band who write timeless songs that anyone can appreciate.
